Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Sam Leake, and I’m the new independent pharmacist in Gray Court. I’m really excited to be serving the local community. Although I’m not from Gray Court, I was born and raised in the Simpsonville/Fountain Inn area. My wife, six children, and I currently live in Simpsonville with our two dogs and a mess of chickens. I have been a licensed pharmacist since 2013, working in a pharmacy retail setting since 2008. While studying for my chemistry degree at Winthrop University I felt a call to pharmacy. I knew I wanted to do something medical and chemistry-related, but that was also patient-centered. Pharmacy seemed like the perfect combination. I graduated from Samford University 2013 and moved back home to continue working for a large chain pharmacy. It’s always been my dream, though, to have an independent pharmacy where I can focus on the customer instead of the bottom line for a big corporation.
I believe in personal service where customers are treated like family and you are not just another prescription: you are a person, with distinct needs. I have learned from my years working in a busy chain pharmacy that people need to be treated with respect and know they can ask their pharmacist anything. I want to be that pharmacist for Gray Court and its surrounding areas. Along with prescriptions, I can help you with immunizations, common lab tests (such as checking your blood sugar or cholesterol levels), custom medications, and medical supplies. I look forward to helping you in any way I can.
